Cambridge has recently been listed as a property investment hotspot.(1) Despite its self-sustaining economy, which isn’t particularly reliable on London, (2) the fast commuter links to the capital can add to its appeal. The city also boasts a strong student population, which we believe increases rental demand. In addition, house prices in Cambridge increased by 75% between 2006 and 2016. (2)

We also believe that Cambridge has developed a global reputation for its ongoing biotech boom, with industry leaders relocating their international headquarters to Cambridge.
